Winter Home at Clearwater RV Park

The smell of gardenias permeates the air and the bench by the pond is calling. The peace and tranquillity soothes the soul and opens the mind. The country setting of Clearwater RV Park, near Picayune MS, offers this and much more to visitors.  Quiet walks through the park offers an array of nature from the various plants to chirping birds. Even a rainy day is soothing as everything is bathed in the sweet smell of rain.

Even though the park has a rural setting, it is close to cities and activities where Snowbirds can find lots to do. We are less than an hour from New Orleans or the Gulf Coast where you can have your fun and then return to the serenity of Clearwater. If you enjoy golf, there is a public course less than ten miles from the park. Infinity Space Center, less than an hour, offers various walking and biking trails as well as a very interesting visitor center. If walking is your activity, The Crosby Arboretum also offers two trails highlighting the landscape of the area. In addition the arboretum offers a variety of classes each month. Some past ones: blacksmithing & metalworking demos, pine needle basketry workshop, fire demonstrations, smartphone photo workshop, botany field walks, art workshop and writing workshop. The Crosby Arboretum is ten miles from the park.

If Farmers Markets call to you, there are three on the Gulf Coast and one in Slidell, LA each Saturday. You will find fresh vegetables, bread, honey and many prepared foods.
